The Boston Bruins have officially announced a signing

Boston Bruins General Manager Don Sweeney made an announcement today, March 24, regarding the team's latest signing.

Forward Riley Duran has inked a two-year entry-level contract, featuring an annual NHL cap hit of $867,500.

Duran is set to join the Providence Bruins on an ATO for the remainder of the 2023-24 season.

During the 2023-24 season, Duran showcased his skills in 35 games with Providence College, tallying nine goals and seven assists, amounting to 16 points. Over the span of 2021-2024, the 6-foot-1, 194-pound forward participated in 102 games with Providence College, accumulating 27 goals and 28 assists for a total of 55 points.

In the 2022 World Junior Championship, Duran represented Team USA in five games, contributing two goals and three assists, resulting in five points.

Originally chosen by Boston in the sixth round (182nd overall) of the 2020 NHL Entry Draft, Duran hails from Woburn, Massachusetts.
