Boston Bruins star David Pastrnak is trending after a recent interview with Team Czechia at the World Championships.
Pastrnak did a interview when he made his debut for Czechia at this years tournament. In the interview David Pastrnak was barefoot the entire time, something you don't typically see.
Pastrnak spoke on the reason why he was barefoot during the interview.
«I take off my skates after every period because I have terribly small skates and it hurts a lot, which is why I don't really want to do interviews,» Pastrnak wrote on Facebook on Wednesday via machine translation. «My feet are crammed in there, so I take the skates off after every period to give my feet some relief.»
You would figure with the salary that Pastrnak makes he would just buy a bigger pair of skates, but NHL players superstitious and it's clearly worked for him, so if it's not broke don't fix it.
