Boston Bruins head coach Jim Montgomery delivered a concerning health update on multiple players ahead of the playoffs. Forward Justin Brazeau and defenseman Derek Forbort skated before practice yesterday, but both remain sidelined.

#NHLBruins forward Justin Brazeau and defenseman Derek Forbort skated again before practice today. Both are still not expected to be ready for the playoffs, but I'll double-check when Jim Montgomery speaks later.

Montgomery stated that Brazeau is still "week-to-week," and urged against inquiries next week.

No real update on Brazeau, who did skate before practice.

Montgomery: «He's still week-to-week, and don't ask me next week.»

Maroon on track for Saturday as long as Friday practice and Saturday morning skate go well. He's not an option for tomorrow.

The uncertainty surrounding their availability raises questions about the team's depth heading into the postseason.

With key players still on the mend, the Bruins face a challenging road ahead as they aim to compete at full strength in the quest for playoff success.
