Head Coach Jim Montgomery may not be looking outside of his team for a center combo. Which is normal, he's the coach and not the GM. His job is to focus on his team.
Montgomery recently said that he has full confidence in Pavel Zacha and Charlie Coyle, and that they can get it done as a center core this season.
«I have a lot of confidence that our top two lines will be very good because I believe Charlie Coyle knows he can do the job and will do the job and Pavel Zacha does too.»
The Bruins have recently expressed interest in Lindholm and will circle back to him if he's made available, but Jim doesn't seem to think they need anyone else. We'll see once the season starts.
