Ahead of tonight's Game 3, Boston Bruins forward Patrick Maroon spoke out about the recent on-ice conflict between his teammate David Pastrnak and the Florida Panthers' Matthew Tkachuk.

Reflecting on the fight that caught everyone's attention, Maroon expressed his disapproval of Tkachuk's actions, particularly the hits Pastrnak received while on the ground.

Maroon stated,
«I mean Tkachuk's not going to fight me ... Just got to take numbers ... Obviously I didn't like how he hit [Pastrnak] on the ground twice ... I'll probably never play against Tkachuk anyway, so let's be realistic.»

His comments not only highlight his displeasure with Tkachuk's conduct during the fight but also send a clear message of his protective stance towards his teammates.

Pat Maroon on Game 2:

"I think we should be pissed off, for sure. Especially about our game too — I think most importantly.

"All the other stuff, whatever — the scrums, them yelling in our face after they scored? It's over. It's done with. We gotta be mad here."

As the Bruins prepare for Game 3 on their home ice, Maroon's words add an extra layer of tension to the matchup, signalling that the Bruins are still very much affected by the previous game's events and are ready to stand up for one another as the series continues.
