In preparation for Game 2 against the Maple Leafs, the Bruins have made a key move, bringing back veteran defenseman Derek Forbort from his conditioning stint with AHL Providence.

While Forbort hasn't officially been removed from long-term injured reserve, his successful two-game stint with the P-Bruins suggests it's likely to happen soon.

However, his return to the lineup isn't certain, given the solid performances from the current bottom-pairing rotation. Forbort has been dealing with a lingering lower-body injury, limiting his playing time this season.
