Reid Dyck was drafted by the Boston Bruins in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft at the 183rd pick, and has been solid in the Western Hockey League for the Swift Current Broncos putting up a 2.70 GAA and a .911 SV%.
The Boston Bruins clearly didn't see a future with Dyck as they had until 5pm today to sign him to a contract or else he would walk, and it is well past 5 now with no news of a deal being agreed upon.
The Bruins still have some solid goalie depth with both Brandon Bussi and Michael DiPietro both having good years for the Providence Bruins.
Both of the Providence Bruins goaltenders are currently RFA's and looking for new deals and there has been speculation that Bussi may become the Boston Bruins full back up for this year with the recent rumours involving Linus Ullmark.
Do you think the Bruins made the right choice letting Reid Dyck walk?
