BREAKING Bruins Place David Backes On Waivers.

Some surprising news from the Bruins on Friday. 

General manager Don Sweeney has decided to place forward David Backes on waivers for the purpose of being assigned to Providence of the AHL. 
Backes has been in and out of the lineup and hasn't lived up to his contract since signing with the Bruins. 
He carries a $6million AAV through the 2020-21 season and it's unlikely he's claimed by another team.
