After dominating the Montreal Canadiens on Monday night, the Boston Bruins and general manager Don Sweeney made a roster move.
The Bruins have decided to place Gemel Smith on waivers very shortly after acquiring him.
Smith was placed on waivers by the Dallas Stars earlier and claimed by the Bruins.
Smith wasn't able to register a point during the three games he played with Boston.
The great news out of all this?
Patrice Bergeron will be back practicing with the team.
