After grabbing Gemel Smith off waivers from the Dallas Stars, the Boston Bruins and general manager Don Sweeney had something else to announce. The team has officially activated Charlie McAvoy off injured reserve. The team has also placed Kevan Miller on injured reserve while sending Connor Clifton back down to Providence. This is great news for a struggling Bruins' offense as McAvoy can definitely give a huge boost to the offense and the powerplay. More to come on when he'll make his official return.
