The Boston Bruins hit the ice for an optional practice today at Warrior Arena and one of the participants was the newly acquired Marcus Johansson.
The 28 year was general manager Don Sweeney's big move during the trade deadline and he should give a nice boost to the Bruins top 9 along with Charlie Coyle.
Johansson has more offensive upside and skill than Coyle and will likely stick in the top 6.
Head coach Bruce Cassidy revealed the plan for Johansson starting tonight as they host the San Jose Sharks.
Cassidy told reporters that Johansson will play on the right wing beside David Krejci and Jake DeBrusk.
