					The Boston Bruins started off the season on a very disappointing note as they took a big loss at the hands of the Washington Capitals 7-0. 
After the seventh goal, Capitals forward 
Lars Eller got a little cocky and celebrated in front of the Bruins bench which 
Brad Marchand took exception to. 
The next time the two players were on the ice, Marchand went right after Eller and pummelled him until he was dripping with blood and laying on the ice. 
After the game Marchand explained Eller's actions were absolutely unacceptable. 
"His celebration was unnecessary. He took an angle in front of our bench and celebrated in a 7-0 game. So I just let him know."
Bruins head coach Bruce Cassidy defended his forward after the game as well. 
"That's good. He's a proud guy. I think Eller celebrated a little on a 7-0 goal. I think that's his prerogative and Marchy let him know that that's not acceptable. That's that and we move on."
