It's no secret, David Pastrnak is having an incredible start to the season.
Pastrnak currently leads the league in both goals and assists with his 15-15-30 totals.
The Bruins' forward is currently on a better pace than last year's leading scorer Nikita Kucherov who finished the season with 128 points. After last night's game, Pastrnak has 13 more points than Kucherov had after 15 games last year.
Not only is he on a pace to lead the league, he's also on a pace to set a new NHL record.
According to NHL PR, Pastrnak is currently on pace to be the fastest player to reach 100 points in a season.
"David Pastrnak is on track toward needing the fewest games to reach 100 points in one NHL season.
Mario Lemieux holds the NHL record for fewest games needed to reach 100 points; he had 44 goals and 56 assists in 61 games en route to 122 (50 goals, 72 assists) for the Pittsburgh Penguins in 1996-97. He had 21 points (eight goals, 13 assists) after 15 games that season. "
