It's no secret that the Bruins and general manager Don Sweeney are looking to add some help before the trade deadline.
They've been attached to pretty much any forward on various trade bait boards.
The cheapest option for the Bruins would be Montreal Canadiens' forward Ilya Kovalchuk.
Boston has been linked to the forward for two years and rumblings are growing stronger he could be Sweeney's choice of help come deadline day.
According to reports the Canadiens are looking for a second round pick to give up Kovalchuk, or a conditional 3rd round pick that would likely turn into a second if the acquiring team won a series or two.
However it won't be easy to get him from a division rival and some reports even have the Canadiens wanting to re-sign Kovalchuk.
Do you think Sweeney should forget about trading a first round pick for somebody like Chris Kreider and instead focus on Kovalchuk?
