It's likely going to be a very busy day today for Boston Bruins general manager Don Sweeney as the NHL trade deadline looms.
Sweeney has already been able to land forward Ondrej Kase from the Anaheim Ducks.
According to multiple sources, the Bruins aren't done dealing at all.
Eric Engel of Sportsnet reports that the Bruins are still looking at forward Joe Thornton of the San Jose Sharks.
Thornton would be a great third line center for the team and a serious Stanley Cup push from the Bruins could help Thornton's time in Boston in a more positive note.
Engels also adds that the Bruins are still looking to make another serious move first before officially trying to close in on Thornton.
Should be a very interesting day from Sweeney.
