During last nights game between the Dallas stars and Vegas Golden Knights things started to get out of control towards the end of the second period.

At this point Vegas is basically in full control of the game as they are winning 4-0. With 21.6 seconds left Max Domi throws a cross-check on Nicolas Hague which would end up leading to a scrum.

As the refs were deciding what the penalties were gonna be and who was gonna get them to try and keep the game under control, Dallas fans took it upon themselves to start throwing garbage, popcorn even their playoff towels onto the ice.

Both teams were forced to leave the ice as the ice crew worked hard to pick up all the debris. The remaining 21.6 seconds would later be added onto the time in the third period.

The Dallas Stars would go onto release an statement about this.

This just goes to show how passionate hockey fans are, but sportsmanship and respect towards the players is important.
