Dallas Stars Forward Could Face A Suspension After This Dirty Play
The Dallas Stars are looking to battle their way back into this series after being down 2-0 to Vegas, and we expected this to be a tightly fought battle.
Things quickly changed as just 1:53 into game three
Jamie Benn would hit Vegas' captain
Mark Stone and while Stone was down on the ice Benn would get on top of him and cross check him in his upper body. Benn would be given a five minute major and a game misconduct.
This is not something you want to see from your captain so early into a very important game and while you're already losing 1-0. Vegans would go on to put up three goals in 7:10 basically putting this game to rest in the first period.
Adding more fuel to the fire, Rope Hintz would collide with Evgenii Dadonov who will not return due to a lower body injury.
Things are not looking too good as of right now for Dallas and it looks like Vegas will take a 3-0 series lead, and be one win away from the Stanley Cup Finals
