After being made available for free, It was just confirmed for Boston Bruins defenseman Billy Sweezey, who was placed on waivers yesterday by the organization.
Yesterday, the Boston Bruins finally made another roster move whenever they placed defenseman Billy Sweezey on waivers, making him available for free to all 31 other teams.

Today, the Boston Bruins ended up making more roster cuts, where they assigned four new players to the Providence Bruins in the American Hockey League.
Billy Sweezey was one of those players, as he officially cleared waivers.

The Bruins are expected to play their NHL roster agains the New York Rangers during their final preseason game before the regular season begins on Saturday.
