This season, the Providence Bruins are off to a great start, and Bruins top prospect Fabian Lysell was just hit with some big news.
As of right now, the Providence Bruins are currently off to a hot start with a 13-3-0 record on the season and sit third overall in the entire league.
Providence is only trailing the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton and Colorado Eagles, who sit with a 13-4-1 record and a 13-4-0 record.
The Providence Bruins also have two games in hand on both of those teams.
A big reason they have been so successful this season is due to the play of their players, and Fabian Lysell has been a big reason.
This season, Lysell has 6 goals and 6 assists for 12 points in 13 games for the Providence Bruins.
Recently though, Lysell was hit with some bad news, as he was injured and ended up leaving practice early and finished by watching the team from the stands.
"Fabian Lysell (lower body) left practice after a few minutes today and watched from the stands
Same thing happened on Tues. He didn't skate at Wed. optional practice"
This is huge for Lysell. He has been super impressive to begin the season and can now continue to work on his game and work towards being recalled to the big club.
Do you think the Boston Bruins are going to recall Fabian Lysell this season?
