"They were disappointed": Boston Bruins announce final round of roster cuts

It seems like the Boston Bruins have released their final roster cuts before the beginning of the season, and some players are upset.

After their second to last preseason game yesterday against the Washington Capitals, the Boston Bruins were expected to announce roster cuts today.
Connor Ryan, a reporter for the Boston Bruins revealed that the organization is making a massive wave of cuts today, and the announcement is going to come around 2 p.m. ET.
Expect a hefty portion of roster cuts for the Bruins at 2 p.m. today.
Sturm spoke following practice, and revealed that some players were pretty disappointed after being told that they were being cut from the team.
Sturm: «They were all disappointed, some more than others.»
The NHL roster deadline is on Monday, and Sturm stated that the Bruins wanted to dress their opening night roster for their final preseason game against the New York Rangers on Saturday night.

Bruins cut 9 players from camp

According to a recent report, the Boston Bruins have cut 9 players.
Here are the players that were just cut from the roster:
Patrick Brown, Michael Callahan, Georgii Merkulov, Victor Soderstrom and Riley Tufte on waivers.

Frederic Brunet, Riley Duran, Brett Harrison and Fabian Lysell to report to Providence.
