Recently, a statement was released, revealing that the
Boston Bruins could've had an extremely skilled forward on their roster.
As it was unveiled that there was a potential in the Boston Bruins acquiring highly skilled forward, Kirill Kaprizov, in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft.
The Boston Bruins were inches away from acquiring Minnesota Wild's Kirill Kaprizov
In 2015, the Boston Bruins sent a fifth-round pick to the Minnesota Wild in exchange for a fifth-round pick in 2016.
That exchanged pick resulted in the Wild acquiring the National Hockey League's now highest paid player.
«Kaprizov was chosen by the Wild in the fifth round (No. 135) of the 2015 NHL Draft. He made an immediate impact when he had two assists and then scored in overtime in his NHL debut, a 4-3 win against the Los Angeles Kings on Jan. 14, 2021. The forward became the first player in NHL history with three points, including an overtime goal, in his first game.»
