The Boston Bruins complete two-player transaction

Today, the boss of the Boston Bruins, Don Sweeney, shared some news. Jayson Megna, a forward, is joining the team. But John Beecher, another forward, is going to play for Providence.

Megna, who's 34, has been doing well in Providence. He's scored 18 goals and helped with 33 more, making a total of 51 points this season. He's played a lot in the AHL and even in the NHL, scoring 33 points in over 200 games. Megna is from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and started playing with Pittsburgh in 2012.

Beecher, who's 23, has been playing for Boston this season. He scored seven goals and made three assists in 52 games. He also played for Providence and scored four goals and made four assists in 17 games. Beecher is from Elmira, New York, and was picked by Boston in 2019.
