A recent announcement revealed that 14 players have filed for arbitration in the NHL this off-season and it's massive news for the Boston Bruins.

Arbitration happens when RFA's and the team are unable to come to an agreement on a contract, they will then use a third-party to determine what their worth is and whatever they determine it is, is what the RFA will get regardless if it's less or more than they think it will be.

The 14 players that have revealed they will be going to arbitration are as followed:

Jake Christiansen (Columbus Blue Jackets)
Connor Dewar (Toronto Maple Leafs)
Jack Drury (Carolina Hurricanes)
Ty Emberson (San Jose Sharks)
Jet Greaves (Columbus Blue Jackets)
Ryan Lindgren (New York Rangers)
Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen (Buffalo Sabres)
Beck Malenstyn (Buffalo Sabres)
Kirill Marchenko (Columbus Blue Jackets)
J.J. Moser (Tampa Bay Lightning)
Martin Necas (Carolina Hurricanes)
Spencer Stastney (Nashville Predators)
Joe Veleno (Detroit Red Wings)
Oliver Wahlstrom (New York Islanders)

This is massive news for the Boston Bruins as this means the Bruins and Swayman will not be going to arbitration and have until 5pm today to decide on a contract.

Do you think the Boston Bruins will still take Swayman to arbitration?
