Boston Bruins set to sign another Brad Marchand type of player
The Boston Bruins might make an unexpected signing and bring in another player that is very similar to Brad Marchand.
It was reported that Florida Panthers forward Nick Cousins will not be re-signing with the Florida Panthers and the Boston Bruins might have some interest in signing the gritty forward.
The NHL did a vote among players in the NHL on who had the most punchable face in the league, and Nick Cousins came in first place.
"Played against him a long time," one player told The Athletic of Cousins. "Always hated the guy."
"I'm buddies with him and I'd still say him," another told the outlet.
With that being said he is a type of player that you would love on your team, but hate to play against them, similar to Brad Marchand, and the Boston Bruins should be fully interested in him.
Brad Marchand and Nick Cousins both play a similar gritty and physical type of game, and the Bruins are missing some of that gritty ness in their lineup, adding someone like Cousins would complement them perfectly.
