A statement has been made, and a Bruins reporter believes that the organization should reengage in trade talks with a former NHL first-round pick.

Boston has had a gaping hole in the top six ever since they ended up losing Jake DeBrusk to free agency two off-seasons ago.
Instead of trying to fix this, Sweeney felt like it was best to sign a bunch of depth players instead.
This has somewhat paid off for the Bruins, as some new acquisitions have been great, but others have been pretty terrible.
Despite those couple of new acquisitions being good for the Bruins, it's clear they are still missing a top-six player.
Because of this, a Bruins reporter has suggested that the Bruins should reengage in trade talks with a former first-round pick.
Bruins should try and acquire Chinakhov again
Dominic Tiano stated that he believes the Bruins should pursue Yegor Chinakhov once again.
I still think the #NHLBruins should pursue Yegor Chinakhov, but i guess that's up to his new agent now. It's a gamble, but one that could pay off.
During the off-season, the Bruins ended up trying to acquire Chinakhov, but the Blue Jackets ended up rejecting the Bruins offer.
Tiano believes that acquiring Chinakhov would be a gamble for the Bruins, but the former first-round pick has shown a lot of potential.
Chinakhov has appeared in 5 games so far for the Blue Jackets, scoring 1 goal, 1 assists for a total of 2 points.
