Bruins head coach Marco Sturm has revealed that an injured defenseman may require surgery for his injury and is expected to be out long-term.

This season has not been what the Bruins expected it to be so far. After starting off hot, the Bruins ended up losing six in a row before beating the Colorado Avalanche last night to snap their losing streak.
Boston ended up improving to 4-6-0 last night with their win but got some terrible news.
Meeting with the media before the game against the Avalanche, Marco Sturm revealed that a Bruins defenseman may have to get surgery for his injury.
Defenseman Jordan Harris was injured in the game against the Florida Panthers on Tuesday, and now he may be out longer and may require surgery.

Harris may need surgery for injury

Leading up to their game against Colorado, Marco Sturm met with the media, where he stated that Harris may have to undergo surgery for his injury.
Sturm said Jordan Harris will be «out for a bit.» Sounds like surgery could be a possibility.
According to Shawn Hutcheon, Harris was seen wearing a boot and was using crutches to get around ahead of the game.
Per #NHLBruins Marco Sturm, defenseman Jordan Harris may need surgery on his lower-body injury. More will be known this coming week. Thursday night, Harris was wearing a boot and using crutches to get around the press box.
This would be unfortunate for the Bruins, especially considering they are already down Hampus Lindholm as well.
