Roster transaction: Bruins recall defenseman following recent injury news

Earlier today, the Bruins were hit with some more unfortunate injury news and have recalled a defenseman because of it.
This week, the Boston Bruins announced that defenseman Jordan Harris was being placed on injury reserve.
Now, another Bruins defenseman has landed on injury reserve.
Boston Bruins general manager announced today that Hampus Lindholm was being placed on IR, and in return, they have recalled another defenseman from the Providence Bruins in the American Hockey League.
Bruins recall defenseman Jonathan Aspirot
With defenseman Hampus Lindholm being moved to injury reserve, the Boston Bruins opened space to recall a defenseman.
It was announced that the Bruins took this opportunity to recall Jonathan Aspirot.
The Bruins have placed Hampus Lindholm on injured reserve and called up Jonathan Aspirot.
Seems Lindholm will miss at least one more game. Aspirot gives them an extra body as they head to Ottawa. Lindholm can still be activated at any point as he's already missed enough time.

There is speculation that the Bruins just did this to have an extra body as they travel to Ottawa for their game tomorrow.
Lindholm can apparently be taken off of IR at any point whenever he is ready to come off.
The Boston Bruins have definitely missed Lindholm out there, losing six out of their last seven games, but this early in the season they don't wanna rush him back.
