Yesterday a report surfaced that Boston Bruins goalie prospect Reid Dyck has left the Boston Bruins organization and has joined the Winnipeg Jets development camp.
Dyck has not signed a contract with the Winnipeg Jets yet, but could if they like him after development camp.
The Boston Bruins had to offer Dyck a contract before the draft, or he could walk away from the organization, and the Bruins never offered him a contract.
Reid Dyck has been playing with the Swift Current Broncos in the WHL and had a decent year last year putting up a GAA of 2.70 and a .911 SV% in 35 games with a record of 25-7-2.
Ultimately the Boston Bruins didn't see a fit for Dyck in their system and let him walk.
Best of luck to Dyck and hope everything works out for him with the Winnipeg Jets.
