Boston Bruins manager faces backlash following social media post
The Boston Bruins social media manager got more than they bargained for today, as they were unhappy with the fact that Adam Sandler will bring shame upon the Bruins franchise as Happy Gilmore 2( the one we didn't ask for) is ramping up in production.
Of course, while this was a lighthearted post meant to poke fun at Netflix and the movie itself, the Bruins and NHL fans were relentless in response.
Honestly though, whats the deal? The Bruins jersey is iconic, for its usage in the movie and not to mention, it survived a fight with Bob Barker in the original movie.
It's a CLASSIC.
One fan made light of the Bruins inability to sign Jeremy Swayman, and given the angst all of us are facing lately with the situation, who can blame them.
While this one is a bit more ridiculous, as the Bruins are an original-six franchise, but nevertheless.
And saving the best for last, Don Sweeney should feel shame for this one, as I feel like this was a straight jab through the computer.
Needless to say, fans aren't happy with the current situations and issues the Bruins face at the moment. Perhaps they should be rewarded with Swayman's signing, and Adam Sandler having a Happy Gilmore Night at TD Garden?
