The Boston Bruins recenly ranked #1 on the least improved teams list for this off-season.
Which is understandable following the retirements of Captain Patrice Bergeron and David Krejci. They have also lost the following: Tyler Bertuzzi, Dmitry Orlov, Taylor Hall, Nick Foligno, Garnet Hathaway, Connor Clifton and Craig Smith.
With all of that, Boston hasn't really added anything either. They're clearly going for a veteran type team pushing for one more year. Sweeney has Pasternak locked up for 8 more years at $11,500,000 AAV, but that's all they really have going for them.
There are still rumors that the Bruins are still in on center Elias Lindholm, but we'll see if they are in the future as they have been «in» on him all throughout free agency.
