Two Boston Bruins have been getting every chance to make the roster and they will get another chance now.
During the Bruins last game you saw some NHL players get their first reps in like David Pastrnak, Charlie McAvoy and Nikita Zadorov against the New York Rangers. Morgan Geekie and Mark Kastelic had really good standout games for the Bruins with the rest looked subpar.
Jim Montgomery has decided to give every chance to Fabian Lysell, and Georgii Merkulov to make the roster and they will be getting another chance tonight against the Philadelphia Flyers tonight.
The first game Merkulov and Lysell appeared in was very disappointing, but the pair bounced back in the second preseason game.
Matthew Poitras is also getting a chance to prove that he belongs with the Boston Bruins this year. He has been getting reps on the wing and center, but the Bruins made it clear he has to earn his spot again this year.
Today's game is the first game we will see the tandem of Joonas Korpisalo and Brandon Bussi, who are slated to be the Bruins tandem this year without having Jeremy Swayman signed.
