The Boston Bruins have named a new captain before their game against the Buffalo Sabres.
After Hampus Lindholm ended up suffering an injury the other day, the Bruins decided to name a new captain tonight.
Lindholm is not expected to be out long-term, but the Bruins still felt like they should announce a new alternate captain.
Elias Lindholm given an «A»
Right before the game, the Bruins announced that Elias Lindholm is going to rock the «A» while Hampus is out of the lineup.
Elias Lindholm is wearing the third 'A' tonight with Hampus Lindholm out.
The Bruins are looking to stay undefeated and improve to 3-0 against the Sabres tonight.
