Recent transactions completed by the Boston Bruins has ultimately revealed the organization's official opening night roster, and it's surprising.
While the Boston Bruins have now completed this year's training camp, we now have intel on which players made the team, and which ones didn't.
On Sunday, October 5, this Original Six franchise announced their final roster cuts prior to the start of the 2025/26 NHL season, placing
several players on waivers.
All of these Bruins will report to Boston's AHL affiliate team, the Providence Bruins, if they go unclaimed.
Meanwhile, forward,
Matthew Poitras, was also cut from the roster, yet, he does not require waivers and will report directly to the Providence Bruins.
«The Bruins have placed Michael DiPietro, Matej Blumel, Johnathan Aspirot, and Alex Steeves on waivers. Matthew Poitras has been sent down to AHL Providence.»
Despite the unfortunate news, that some talents will be absent from the Boston Bruins' roster, Bruins fans now have an idea of what this organization's bench is expected to look like.
