Two teams preparing to claim Boston Bruins goaltender off waivers: "It sounds like he's a Maple Leaf"

According to a NHL insider, it sounds like the Toronto Maple Leafs are going to be the team to steal goaltender Michael DiPietro from the Boston Bruins off waivers.
The Boston Bruins ended up shocking some teams yesterday whenever they placed some big named players on the waiver wire.
Boston ended up making their final roster cuts yesterday, placing four players on waivers, and sending 5 total players down to the American Hockey League.
But it's looking like not all players placed on the waiver wire are going to make in to the American Hockey League.
Jonathan Aspirot, Matej Blumel, Michael DiPietro and Alex Steeves have been placed on waivers for the purpose of assignment to Providence.
Matt Poitras will report to Providence Bruins Training Camp.

Yesterday, ex-Boston
Bruins goaltender Brandon Bussi was claimed off waivers by the Carolina Hurricanes, eliminating a team that would claim DiPietro off waivers.
According to James Murphy, the Toronto Maple Leafs and Calgary Flames are two teams that have shown a lot of interest in DiPietro.

All signs are pointing to DiPietro being claimed off waivers today, it'll be interesting to see what team actually pulls the trigger and gets it done.
