This move ended up paying off as the Boston Bruins would go on to win 5-3 against the Avalanche who remain without a win in the early season so far. But Montgomery is already making more changes in preparation for their game against the Utah Hockey Club.
Today during the teams skate, the Boston Bruins were running a new second line, along with a new third line.
The second line saw some changes were Brad Marchand was moved to his off-wing, now playing the right wing, and Justin Brazeau was placed on the second line left wing, where Brad Marchand would normally play.

It looks like Max Jones and Riley Tufte are coming back out of the lineup after playing their second game of the season against the Colorado Avalanche.
No changes were made to the defensive pairings.
