Former Boston Bruins veteran and captain, Brad Marchand, has revealed his true colours towards the organization in a recent statement, and it's shocking.
During the NHL trade deadline, which took place in March of last campaign, Boston Bruins' general manager, Don Sweeney, quickly called a fire sale, which saw several Bruins depart from the organization.
Now, new insight from the veteran himself has unveiled he was more than excited to depart from Boston and make his way to Florida.
Recent statement by Brad Marchand reveals he was 'ecstatic' to land in Florida last campaign
In a recent post on social media, via «X», a Florida Panthers reporter, Jordan McPherson, revealed a recent statement by Brad Marchand regarding becoming a Panther.
Brad Marchand: "I did not expect to be a Panther this year if I'm being completely honest. I just didn't think that it could work with everybody. So the fact that they were able to make it work and Bill called and told me that he wanted to make it work, I was ecstatic."
This is absolutely shocking to majority of Bruins fans who believed this forward would retire from his professional hockey career within Boston's organization.
