Injury news: Boston Bruins top forward leaves game with concerning injury

Add another player to the list of injuries for the Boston Bruins this season.
Last night, the Bruins got hit with some more injury news, and this time it was a top forward.
This season so far has been a struggle for the Bruins; similar to last year, they have been dealing with quite a few injuries.
At the beginning of the season, they were without Hampus Lindholm. Lindholm ended up missing eight games for the Bruins before returning.
His loss was really felt. Along with that, the Bruins also lost Jordan Harris, who just underwent surgery after suffering a right ankle sprain.
Harris is expected to be out close to two months after undergoing surgery yesterday.
Now, another player has gone down with an injury, and his presence is going to be missed in the lineup.
Lindholm goes down with an injury
Last night during the game, Elias Lindholm ended up awkwardly colliding with Jordan Greenway during the first period.
He left the game and did not return.
Everyone is hopeful Lindholm isn't out long-term, but the good thing is the Bruins have an extra center sitting on the sidelines right now in John Beecher.
They also have Matt Poitras down in the American Hockey League, who could be recalled.

Lindholm has been really good for the Bruins so far this season after having a tough season last year. In 13 games he has 4 goals and 5 assists for 9 points which is good for 3rd in points on the Bruins roster.
