It was just confirmed for Boston Bruins captain Brad Marchand and it's massive for the Bruins heading forward.
Brad Marchand in the off-season underwent three different surgeries, and no one found out about this until their first media scrum when Brad Marchand revealed it.
The three different surgeries he underwent were his groin to address a sports hernia, elbow to repair a torn tendon, and his abdominal area, also for a sports hernia. Brad Marchand stated that he torn a tendon in his arm last year and played through it.
Today some big news surfaced for Brad Marchand, and the Boston Bruins, as Marchand has been practicing with the injured group at skates, and wearing a red no-contact jersey.
In a interview after the skate, Brad Marchand stated that it feels good to be involved in a full practice, and he's hopeful to play in a few games before regular season begins.
Brad Marchand on returning to practice: "Feeling good. Feels good to be out there without a non-contact jersey and be part of full practice. Hopefully continue to progress, get into a couple games."
