A major development has surfaced regarding Linus Ullmark being traded to the Colorado Avalanche.
The NHL offseason is officially here and rumours have already been surfacing around the Boston Bruins and Linus Ullmark. The Bruins and Colorado Avalanche could combine for a blockbuster trade during the offseason at some point.
The center piece of the deal would obviously be Linus Ullmark, but the return package is what would be interesting.
The return for Linus Ullmark would reportedly be Samuel Girard and goaltender Alexandar Georgiev.
While the return might not seem like much, the Boston Bruins are in need of a top-four defensemen and Girard would be that guy.
He is a very solid two-way defensemen and has a reasonable contract, something that would fit the Bruins perfectly. Although the Bruins don't need goaltending Georgiev would be a solid fit to work behind Jeremy Swayman.
