Pat Maroon issued a major statement towards Boston Bruins fans
Patrick Maroon has issued a major statement towards Boston Bruins fans during his exit interview today.
Maroon has had a lot of success throughout his time in the NHL, he has won the cup multiple times and been to the Stanley Cup finals multiple times as well. Even though he wasn't able to help the Bruins get there this year, he has had an incredible career.
Patrick Maroon and the Boston Bruins just didn't have what it takes to beat the Florida Panthers this year being eliminated in 6 games in the second round.
Today during the Boston Bruins exit interviews, Patrick Maroon expressed his true feelings towards the Boston Bruins in a heartfelt quote.
"I had the best experience of my life, of my career, to be a part of this group, and be a part of these guys that really, truly care," said Maroon on Sunday. "And I can't thank them enough for welcoming me and my wife, and my daughter and my son to be a part of that."
This says a lot coming from someone who has won multiple Stanley Cups with other organizations, and just goes to show what type of culture the Boston Bruins have in their locker room.
The question most are wanting to know is if Maroon will be back next year, he has stated that he would be willing to come back, but ultimately it's up to Don Sweeney and the Bruins if they want to bring him back.
