The Boston Bruins have placed three players on waivers today

There were also 25 other players placed on the waiver wire Friday afternoon, with just 72 hours left until opening night roster submissions have to be submitted, teams are making moves.

With the opening night roster deadline approaching, teams will have to place players on waivers, allowing any other team in the league to claim a player if they want. There isn't a high chance that many players do get claimed, but it does happen.

Today the Boston Bruins placed 25 players on waivers in, Michael DiPietro, Vinni Lettieri, and Jordan Oesterle.

Elliotte Friedman reported that in total there were 25 players placed on waivers.
