The Trade Deadline is only a week and a half away, and sellers are doing everything they can to make sure they get the full value for their trade assets.

As of late, Jakob Chychrun and Vladislav Gavrikov are two notable targets for the Bruins that have been healthy scratched due to ''trade-related reasons''. Now, another defenseman joins them to prevent injury prior to March 3rd.

According to Rick Dhaliwal of 'Donnie and Dhali' in Vancouver, trade talks are heating up revolving around Luke Schenn and the Canucks. He also reported that he could sit Tuesday's game, with Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman later confirming the news.

Schenn, 33, is in the final year of a two-year contract owing him $850,000 per season. In 55 games this season, the physical defenseman has three goals, 18 assists, 71 penalty minutes, and is a plus-nine while averaging 17:11 TOI per game.
