The Florida Panthers dropped game one of the second round to their interstate rival Tampa Bay Lightning by a score of 4-1.

The game was played at FLA Live Arena, home of the Panthers, and as time was winding down to two minutes left, you could see the stands were emptying very quickly as it seemed the home fans had seen enough. Greg Millen, who is part of the Canadian broadcast on Sportsnet, poked a little fun at all Panthers fans leaving the arena.

I get why fans were leaving, as the game was pretty much over, and I'm sure people wanted to beat some of the traffic and get home on a Tuesday night. However, it's absolutely hilarious what Millen said, and honestly, he's not wrong. Teams like the Florida Panthers are only known to have fans when the team is doing good.

Greg Millen was a goaltender who played 604 NHL games over the span of a 14-year career. He played for six teams: Pittsburgh Penguins, Hartford Whalers, St. Louis Blues, Quebec Nordiques, Chicago Blackhawks and Detroit Red Wings. He was with CBC's "Hockey Night in Canada" since 1995 before joining Sportsnet in 2014.
