Brad Marchand Chirps David Backes Online

Boston Bruins forward Brad Marchand is just as popular on social media as he is on the ice at the TD Garden for many of the same reasons.

He is the same on Twitter as he is during a game; entertaining, fun and never afraid to run his mouth.

Marchand has used his Twitter account to have fun at the expense of and chirp his opponents and critics.� Over the weekend, he decided to take a swipe at this teammate David Backes.

We all now who important his dogs are to Backes and on Saturday he posted pictures of his freshly washed and groomed buddies.� Of course, Marchand was the first to chirp Backes as he made the obvious, yet still funny joke.

There has been no word on if there has been any retribution for Marchand's joke, but you can bet that Backes will get even at some point!
