The Boston Bruins and general manager Don Sweeney added some physicality today during the deadline when they flipped Danton Heinen for Nick Ritchie.�
Before that trade was made official, we heard the Bruins were making a push to try and land veteran center Joe Thornton.�
Reports had both the Bruins and Dallas Stars making a serious push for Thornton.�
However now it appears that the Bruins have moved on from the Thornton reunion.�
