BREAKING Bruins Send Defenseman To AHL.

Published December 18, 2018 at 4:01 PM

The Boston Bruins and general manager Don Sweeney were a little busy today after beating down the Montreal Canadiens on Monday night.

Earlier today the team placed forward Gemel Smith on waivers with news that Patrice Bergeron would be practicing with the team on Wednesday.

Sweeney made another roster move on Tuesday afternoon as he sent a defenseman to the AHL before the holiday roster freeze kicks in.

Jeremy Lauzon is on his way back to Providence.

The 21 year old has gotten some ice time with the Bruins this year as he's suited up for 15 games and scored his first career goal.

He has four points in eights games this year with Providence.
