The season is starting to seem like one big injury bug. Boston Bruins defenseman Kevan Miller left the game against the Boston Bruins on Monday night after taking a puck to the throat. He was to be monitored in the hospital and head coach Bruce Cassidy didn't think it would be too serious, unfortunately he was wrong. The Bruins report that X-Rays were negative on the defenseman however a further CT scan revealed a cartilage injury to his larynx. It's a real tough break for Miller after he had just returned from a hand injury.
