One of Don Sweeney's biggest targets this offseason is to secure the backup goalie position.

The Bruins general manager had expressed interest in keeping Anton Khudobin around, however as we get closer to July 1st and Khudobin not having signed an extension, it's not looking likely at the moment.
It's not surprising as vice president Cam Neely stated after the season the backup goaltender situation needed to be addressed and sounded like he was ready to move on from Khudobin.
So who exactly could the Bruins try and land?
According to Steve Conroy of the Boston Herald the team already has somebody in mind.
In his latest article he mentions that the Bruins are linked to Jonathan Bernier who played a big part in Colorado's bounce back season last year.
Bernier put up a 19-13-3 record with the Avalanche last season along with a .913 saved percentage and played a good part in helping the Avalanche push the Nashville Predators in the playoffs.
He's also spent time in Toronto and Anaheim and has put up a .914 save percentage and 2.67 goals against average over 289 career NHL appearances.
Do you think he would be a good fit in Boston?
