Four teams have been confirmed to be in the running for Connor McDavid: Per NHL insider
This could be Connor McDavid's last year with the Edmonton Oilers, as there has been a lot of speculation surrounding him leaving after his contract expires.
After losing in back-to-back Stanley Cup Finals,
McDavid has yet to decide what he wants to do, or where he is going to be playing following this season.
If the Oilers have another tough year, it could push McDavid to walk away from the organization and make a run with a different team.
Recently, Frank Seravalli listed four teams that McDavid could go to if he decides to leave the Oilers.
Four landing spots for Connor McDavid
It's pretty clear that every team in the NHL wants McDavid, especially if he left the Oilers, but not every team has what's necessary to acquire him.
Seravalli listed the Toronto Maple Leafs, Los Angeles Kings, New York Rangers, and Chicago Blackhawks as teams that could land him if he hit free agency.
Many fans believe that the Montreal Canadiens should be a team on the list as well, as they are young and upcoming, and we agree with this.
If the Oilers go on to win the Stanley Cup this year, the chances of him leaving the organization would not be very high.
