Boston ended the regular season with an 8-game winning streak and was in big thanks to one specific player, who was recognized by the NHLPA.

Getting Hot at the Perfect Time

David Pastrnak finished the 2022-23 season on a 10-game point streak, where he collected 12 goals and 6 assists. Because of this, he was named the ‘'Player of the Week'' by the NHLPA:

With 9 points in four games, @pastrnak96 led the league in scoring this week, while he also surpassed the 60-goal mark and helped the @NHLBruins set new NHL records in points and wins to earn the title of NHLPA Player of the Week.

What makes it even more impressive, is that Pasta was able to put up those solid numbers with players like David Krejci, Patrice Bergeron and Brad Marchand for multiple games down the stretch.

One other factor was head coach Jim Montgomery finding instant chemistry in the likes of Pasta and Tyler Bertuzzi.
